Americans are going into Walmart stores and they’re spending money on its website, pushing the performance of the world’s biggest retailer beyond Wall Street expectations during the second-quarter. The retailer said online sales surged 60 percent, and U.S. same-store sales increased 1.8 percent, the 12th straight quarter of growth.
